Cindy Guckenberger

I am Broker/Owner of Key Realty. I have a career spanning nearly three decades, bringing a comprehensive background in land development, construction, and residential real estate.

Following my honorable discharge from the United States Army in 1988, where I served as a Sergeant in the Military Intelligence branch, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Humboldt State University. That foundation led me directly into the real estate and development industry, where I have built my career ever since.

I began my professional journey with Danco Group in Arcata, California, serving as Director of Operations for 13 years. During that time, I was deeply involved in new construction, land development, and project management, while also obtaining my Real Estate Broker’s license in 1997.

After relocating to Iowa in 2003, I continued working with multiple land development companies, expanding my experience across residential development, property management, and sales. Over the years, I have developed a well-rounded understanding of the real estate process from the ground up—literally—from raw land acquisition through construction to final sale.

In 2025, I launched my own brokerage, bringing together decades of hands-on experience and a strategic, development-focused perspective. My background offers clients a unique advantage, combining traditional real estate expertise with a deeper understanding of construction, land use, and long-term property value.
